Privacy Policy

Effective date: February 17, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Identity ("we," "us," or "our"), accessible at identityhub.app, collects, uses, and shares information in connection with your use of our website and services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

  • Email address — when you contact us.
  • Profile information — username, display name, bio, website, and avatar that you choose to provide.
  • Contribution descriptions — when you submit manual review requests.

1.2 Information from Third-Party Services

When you connect third-party accounts, we receive information from those services in accordance with their terms and your privacy settings:

  • GitHub — username, user ID, avatar URL, access token, and public activity data including commits, pull requests, issues, starred repositories, followers, contributed repositories, and account age.
  • Telegram — user ID, first name, last name, username, photo URL, and authentication date.
  • TON Connect (Wallet) — public wallet addresses. We may also read publicly available on-chain data associated with your wallet, including SBT (Soulbound Token) badges, collection addresses, names, images, and receipt dates.
  • X (formerly Twitter) — username, display name, profile picture, bio, follower and following counts, and publicly available posts and engagement metrics.
  • Instagram — username, display name, profile picture, bio, follower and following counts, and publicly available posts and engagement data.

1.3 Information Collected Automatically

  • Cookies — we use a single cookie to store your theme preference (dark or light mode). We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.
  • Server logs — our servers may automatically record standard log information such as IP addresses, browser type, and request timestamps. This data is used solely for security and operational purposes.

1.4 Blockchain Data

We read publicly available data from the TON blockchain, including but not limited to wallet balances, transaction history, and SBT/badge ownership. This data is inherently public and is not collected by us — it is accessible to anyone on the blockchain network.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
  • Build and display your reputation profile based on your verified contributions and on-chain activity.
  • Calculate and display reputation scores.
  • Authenticate your identity and verify account ownership.
  • Communicate with you, including responding to inquiries and sending service-related notices.
  • Improve, personalize, and develop new features for the Service.
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • Public profile — your username, display name, avatar, reputation score, badges, and contribution history are publicly visible by design. This is a core feature of the Service.
  • Service providers — we may share information with third-party vendors who assist us in operating the Service (e.g., hosting, infrastructure), subject to confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal compliance — we may disclose information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
  • Protection of rights — we may disclose information to protect our rights, property, safety, or the rights of others, including to enforce our Terms of Use.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

4. Blockchain Data Disclaimer

Blockchain networks, including the TON network, are public, decentralized, and immutable. Any data recorded on the blockchain — including wallet addresses, transaction history, and SBT badges — is permanently public and cannot be modified or deleted by us or anyone else. We have no control over blockchain networks and are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or permanence of on-chain data.

5. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services including GitHub, Telegram, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and the TON blockchain. These services have their own privacy policies and terms of service that govern your use of them. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies:

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you request deletion of your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable timeframe, except where we are required to retain it by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, dispute resolution).

Please note that data recorded on public blockchains cannot be deleted by us, as it is outside our control.

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot and do not guarantee the absolute security of your information.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access — request a copy of the information we hold about you.
  • Correction — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Deletion — request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
  • Data portability — request a copy of your data in a structured, commonly used format.
  • Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at legal@identityhub.app.

10. Disclaimer

The Service and all information provided through it are offered on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of any information, including reputation scores, activity data, or blockchain data. Your use of the Service and reliance on any information obtained through it is entirely at your own risk.

We shall not be liable for any loss or damage — including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages — arising from or related to your use of the Service, any blockchain interactions, loss of digital assets, or reliance on reputation data.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
